You many be on to something here. I also noticed the 90-100% light blue with Type O coming up from S.A. up into the Pacific NW and even into Alaska. If the first people came across the Alaska-Siberian landbridge then shouldn’t it be the other way around?
Yep… pretty interesting isn’t it? If it was to be diluted you would think it would be reversed as you say. Something else interesting is that the only other location besides the Americas with 80-90% happens to be only in Northern Australia. So Australia is tied somehow to the direct origins of type O.
I find that pretty unique. :)
It also looks like New Zealand is light blue. Now I can’t help but wonder something LOL. What if there was a time when the migration route was out of the Levant, across India and SE Asia, down into Australia and at the time South America was closer to Australia? And then once in South America they migrated up through Central and North America then up through Alaska and across the landbridge back into Siberia. One big circle!
In fact we don’t really know where the ancient land masses were exactly but we do know there ARE sunken continents. Was South America even connected to Australia at one time? Very interesting.
Crap…I did not notice the small 100% area in Hew Zealand Roberto! Good catch! I think your concept is very very sound! But here is a twist… What if it was an earlier dual migration? one from South America across the South Pacific or Antarctica to New Zealand and then into Australia and the other North into Siberia? I seriously think there were three Evolutions of Humanoids. One in Africa, one in the Caucuses and one in South America. Then like you say they each migrated in all directions North, South, East and West from their origin!
Could have very well been the case. I hear many people ask “Where are the migration routes” and the answer to that is that most likely they are under water today as the sea levels used to be lower than they are now. So, we will never know for sure but one thing I am certain of is that migrations were ongoing and there we many.
Something else interesting I’ve been thinking about pondering this map. Take all the blue land masses and move them to the equator zone. Then take all of the 80-90% lands and put them just above the blue and etc. You get a far different set of land masses! My point being, Type O would be strongest at the Equator and the rest would fan out due to the need of less resistance to malaria the further away from the Equator one gets. Does this make an sense?
Know what? It does make sense and I think you could be absolutely right! And this in turn would again give support to the Malaria Theory! I was thinking about your hybrid theory again while looking at this map and realized we may be looking at three separate original species, each with their own original pure blood type. Type A, Type B, and Type O. Then these spread out from the three different origins as pure blood types to intermingle and hybridize with the other Blood types creating all the different blood types we see now. Keyword in this though would be “Three” different Species and evolutions from “Three” different locations, and the Blood type O situation in South and Central America may point to this absolutely being one of these three original locations!
I really need to look up the other map on the same site I found this one and see where the Indigenous A-B origins may have started and then fanned out from there to see if this makes any sense… :)
Thanks for the great thoughts!
I think that is possible JR and perhaps via interbreeding is where we get the A - or + etc? Also something else I was thinking about…
If you take the blue, turn the map sideways, and run the equator through the blue then you come up with an upside down planet. So did the ancient equator run through these blue areas I wonder? It would run from South America up through Central America and the American SW and then up into Canada and Southern Alaska making them tropical and semi-tropical areas and, thus, mosquitoes carrying malaria.
Uh Oh… Now you sent me rolling the Google Globe around again! lol
It would indeed!
